Free boost for cemetery trusts

If you’re a Victorian cemetery trust member, make sure you’ve completed the free governance and operational training hosted by the Institute of Community Directors Australia.
Recently updated, the essential two-day program has been developed in partnership with the Department of Health (DH).
The training aims to ensure trust members understand their roles and responsibilities, and consists of one day of foundation training and a second day of tailored training suited to the size of your trust.
The program covers strategy, planning, risk management, financial governance, legislative frameworks, stakeholder relations and more.
The training is designed to be highly practical, providing participants with the necessary skills and tools to survive and thrive as trust members. It will enable your cemetery to operate more effectively, and it will enable you to continue your effective management of an essential community service.
