Australian Not-for-Profits Advocacy Week

Australia has more than 600,000 community groups of vastly differing sizes and shapes, groups that play a vital role in advocating for people and issues. Advocacy can take many forms, whether you’re lobbying for new lights at the local football ground, opposing a war, or planting trees. The causes and the methods change over time, but the importance of the task remains. This week, the Festival of Community Directors celebrates advocacy in all of its forms.
