Any good movement needs art and artists to help spread the message.

Here at ICDA, we believe that the Australian community sector is one big movement of organisations of all sizes, working towards a common goal of creating stronger communities.

Art knows no language-barrier. Art connects us all. It’s the heart and soul of our nation.

This week, Australia Council for the Arts and ICDA team up for Arts Governance Week, coinciding with the first session of the Arts Governance Training Program for 2020.

The Arts Governance Training Program is a unique, tailor-made training and networking program designed to help Australian arts organisations thrive. The program provides practical information to arts organisations on how to get the best out of the board.

As a special initiative for the Festival of Community Directors, the two organisations have also teamed up to release a spotlight report on the state of governance in the arts sector (to be released this Wednesday).

Help us make the Arts thrive in Australia.
