Gender Equality Week

As we celebrate women's achievements throughout the world on International Women's Day, community directors should take a moment to ask whether they are doing enough in their push for equality. This week, the Festival of Community Directors continues the conversation and provides tips and tools on how you can improve gender equality on your board, while also providing training for women to help bolster professional development. 50-50 representation is equal, and anything else just isn't good enough.

An equal world is an enabled world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help to create a gender-equal world. #EachforEqual.

Women's Scholarships are available for the Diploma of Governance. The number of places are limited and rolling in nature, so please get your application in sooner rather than later. All applications will be assessed within 10 business day from the date of your submission.
