Festival of Community Directors 2020 kick-off week

In 2019, we at the Institute of Community Directors Australia re-aligned our training program to maximise the benefits to community directors by positioning each component to meet their needs throughout the board calendar year.

The Festival of Community Directors was born – and our training program became so much more than just a training program. The festival offers the help and resources you need, at exactly the time when you need them most, from strategic planning help, to financial reporting webinars, to annual general meeting tips, and much more in between.

We were very pleased with the response to the 2019 Festival of Community Directors, which demonstrated that we were on to something, with individuals and organisations throughout Australia taking up the opportunity to be a part of it.

Community organisations nationally tuned in not only to our new training opportunities, but to the resources, inspiration and celebration of the sector that the festival provided every month.

In 2020, the Festival of Community Directors is back, and it’s even bigger and better than before! This year, the festival again aligns with the calendars of community directors – focusing on a new range of timely topics. Weekly themes serve as a reminder of where community directors will be focusing their attention at any particular time of the year.
